The first type of audit is internal audit, which is one of the duties of a quality assurance manager. Paragraph 9.2 of ISO9001: 2015 states:
The organization must perform internal audits at planned intervals to obtain information, whether the quality management system complies with the following:

• The organization’s own requirements for quality management system
• International standard self-requirements
  The second type of audit is the audit that we do of our customers.
