Cotton Cultivation E-Learning
Virtual training in cotton cultivation introduces people to the basics of cotton production and cultivation. Cotton is a plant that needs enough water for cultivation, and lack of water and heat causes early ripening and the plant flowers quickly. Cultivation of cotton with a regular annual rainfall of 400 to 650 mm will be successful. But in general, successful cotton cultivation depends on regular irrigation as well as fine-tuning the distance between irrigations and the amount of irrigation. The most sensitive growth stage in cotton to dehydration is the reproductive growth stage.
Importance of cotton:
Good quality oil, rich animal feed containing 43-81% protein, liner used in military and ammunition industries and other products including soap, vitamins, glycerin, paper, flooring, photographic film, viscose cellulose paste, glucose, All kinds of mulch and fertilizer and so on.
Cotton is an aquatic plant, the first step in choosing cotton cultivation is the availability of sufficient and timely water for the economic production of the product. According to studies conducted in Golestan province, the water requirement of cotton is 6000-4000 cubic meters, which, taking into account the possible rainfall, at least 3500-3000 cubic meters is met through irrigation, and this amount is provided in Golestan province with 3-5 irrigations. Therefore, cultivating this cultivar in areas that do not have enough water for irrigation is not recommended and may have no other result for the farmer than spending time and money.
Cotton is inherently a tropical and subtropical plant and needs plenty of sun, warm days and cool nights. The most suitable temperature in the vegetative growth stage of cotton is 21 to 26 degrees Celsius, and in the flowering and fruiting stage is 26 to 32 degrees Celsius (with relatively cool nights). Increasing the daily temperature accelerates the ripening of the fruit. Therefore, cotton cultivation in mountainous areas, cold, and with few hours of sunshine usually does not yield good results. In areas with more hours of sunshine, the quantitative and qualitative performance of the product is also better. In humid areas with few sunny hours, there is a possibility of stimulating vegetative growth, herbaceous plants and severe reduction of the crop.
Properties of cotton flowers:
Easily stains and washes, and is resistant to any decay.
It is lightweight, has high absorption power and is also colored.
Cotton seeds increase milk production as well as treat premature ejaculation.
You can use burnt cotton for purulent wounds.
Cotton blossom syrup is effective in treating and improving memory.
