Design Of Steel Structures E-Learning

Virtual design of steel structures design has been created for people to become fully acquainted with the design of steel structures. This course is not only a tutorial on ETABS software but also a complete understanding of structural design analysis, how the engineer starts with the project, how he thinks, how to determine the dimensions of the element before modeling them in the software in this course. We will have a “Hangar” steel structure with all the structural elements of steel.

In this course, you will learn how to select the best part of any type of steel structural element using a Hangar. You will show how to design a Hangar structure using the American Code AISC. You will learn how to design “Hangar” steel structures under “wind loads” lateral loads. Dimensions and characteristics related to structural sections that are commonly used in the design and construction of steel structures, in this course, in addition to all design considerations and the availability of appropriate materials and specifications according to the AISC code.

What is a steel structure?
A steel structure is a type of structure whose main material used to withstand and transmit forces is steel. The joints used in this type of structure are welded, riveted or screwed. Depending on the type of connections of the designed parts and the relevant controls on them, steel is currently one of the most important materials for the construction of buildings, bridges and other fixed structures. For ordinary buildings, 2400 resistance steel is used, which is called mild steel.
