ISO 17025: 2017 Ensuring The Validity Of Results E-Learning

Virtual training to ensure the validity of test results (quality assurance) according to the standard 17025 edition 2017, examines the requirements for ensuring the validity of the results. The laboratory should monitor its performance by comparing it with the results of other laboratories (which are available and appropriate). This operation must be planned and reviewed. Monitoring activity data should be analyzed and, if possible, used to improve laboratory activities and for control. If the results of data analysis of monitoring activities are outside the predefined criteria, appropriate measures should be taken to prevent the reporting of inaccurate results.

The laboratory must have an executive method for monitoring the validity of the results. The data obtained should be recorded in such a way that their process is recognizable. When practical, statistical techniques should be used to evaluate the results. This monitoring should be reviewed and redesigned and should include, but is not limited to:

Use of reference materials or quality control materials

Use alternative tools that are calibrated to provide traceable results.

Check the performance of test and measurement equipment

Apply work or control standards with control charts, which are applicable

Intermediate inspection of measuring equipment

Repeat tests or calibrations

Calibration or retesting of stored items

Correlation between results related to different characteristics of a pen

Review the reported results

In vitro comparisons

Testing blind samples
