Rice Farmers E-Learning

Virtual rice training has been created for people to become fully acquainted with the Chinese cotton machine. The flower or fruit of rice lies in a golden pod called a paddy, which must be peeled at the factory to be nourished. Rice belongs to the wheat family and grass. Its components are roots, stems, leaves, spikes, spikelets, and seeds. The value of nutrients in rice is very high. Energy is carbohydrates, protein, fiber, fat, valuable B vitamins, calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium, zinc, and phosphorus. Rice or rice cooked with rice is a very nutritious food.

What are the steps of planting rice?

  • Preparing the treasury for planting rice: Farmers prepare the treasury in the fall, about 6 months before the start of the rice planting operation.
  • Germination of rice seeds: Farmers store some of the rice seeds of the previous year in a dry and suitable place, in the form of paddy or spikes. Then, in April of the new year, they carry out special operations to germinate the seeds of Parsali. And the germinated seed is ready to be planted in the ground (treasury). The germination stage of rice takes about 10 days.
  • Planting germinated seeds in the treasury: This stage is done from the beginning of April and after the germination stage. And it lasts about 25 to 30 days, that is, until the middle of May.

Transfer of seedlings from the nursery to the main ground: After the seeds have grown about 20 cm and each seed had 4 or 5 leaves. They should be gently removed from the treasury ground by hand and taken to the main plot for planting.

  • Planting seedlings in the main land: The transfer of seedlings from the nursery to the main land for planting operations is called transplanting. The seedlings are planted in multiples and the number of seedlings is put together. Also, the distance of each seedling group from the surrounding groups depends on the type of seedlings.
