Tillage E-Learning

Virtual tillage training is created for people to become fully acquainted with tillage. Rusting is the process of preparing agricultural soil for plant growth. The crop is in the soil. In some cases, this operation may be just to loosen, compress or compact the soil. Therefore, the best tillage system is the one that achieves these goals with the least cost of labor and power.

Of course, the impact on soil erosion must also be considered in the planning of all operations. The choice of tillage to provide a growing bed in drylands is almost entirely based on its effects on soil moisture retention and surface runoff and erosion prevention.

Conventional tillage:
The number of operations required for conventional tillage depends on the type of crop and the area. Conventional tillage may typically involve the following operations:

  • Plowing and crushing the soil.
  • Crushing and disking plant debris.
  • Create grooves and ridges in order to form soil.
  • Use plate pruning or field cultivator.
  • Use toothed pruning immediately after spring plowing, to reduce air-filled pores and level and compact the soil surface.
  • Use spring tooth pruning or finger tooth after planting.
  • Once or twice using row cultivators, depending on the product, area and weeds.
  • Use a rotating seal to break the tuber or eradicate weeds.
