But in Iran, the vacuum of a national standard in the field of integrated management had long been proposed by the country’s quality management experts. Finally, a group of experts prepared a draft in this field and submitted it to the Office of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran. Based on this draft and forming an expert committee, the Standards Office of Iran has compiled the standard of comprehensive quality management in Iran – Requirements No. 13000 and published it in October 1989.
