Types of building electrical maps
1- Real map
It is a map that shows how to connect and install electrical components.
2- Flow path map
It is a map that shows the flow path of the consumer. This map is mostly used to describe the connections and troubleshoot the circuit.
3- Technical and single line map
The technical map shows the assembly method and type of equipment used in the circuit using acronyms and is mostly used for assembly and cost estimation.
4- Command map
It is a map that describes how to control the circuit and, as its name implies, the power command is designed through this map.
5- Electric power circuit diagram
The part of the real circuit that receives energy from the grid and transmits it to the consumer and passes the current consumed by the motor is called the power circuit.
6- Assembly plan
It is used to install parts on the electrical panel, which shows how the equipment is located on the panel.
7- External map
Shows how the parts of an electrical panel and the equipment outside the panel are connected. This map is used to separate the internal and external equipment as well as troubleshoot the parts.
8- Terminal map
Terminal maps can be used instead of external maps and assembly maps. In this map, only the terminals of the control panel along with the input and output wires are drawn.
